Assassin's Creed Origins Valley Of The Kings Download
On 13th March the second big DLC for Assassin's Creed Origins, called The Curse of the Pharaohs, has reached the hands of players, offering many new adventures. This time, the creators allow us to begin the game from a new save game with a level 45 character. However, if you are going to play on old characters remember that the new DLC site requires a minimum level of 45. Version 1.2.0 of Assassin’s Creed Origins is available to download today. The headline items are the addition of two new areas – Sinai and the Valley of Kings – and “added support for the ‘The Hidden Ones’ expansion”. Quite what “added support” means is unclear at this point. We already have a massive open world for Origins, but I can't help but notice that Thebes and the Valley of the Kings are both not in the game. The devs probably thought this would be the ideal place to put a DLC. It would be such a dense environment, if done right. Version 1.2.0 of Assassin’s Creed Origins is available to download today. Shards of a Star are a new high rank crafting material in Assassin’s Creed Origins. You’ll need them for all the gear upgrades in Curse of The Pharaohs. There’s no quick and easy way to earn enough of them – you’ll have to farm them for a while. Our AC Origins Shards of a Star farming guide will help you by showing several good locations where you can find them.
How to get Shards of a Star?
If you need shards, your best bet would be to hunt either the giant scorpions (which drop two) or the pharaoh’s shadows (which drop three). Our favorite method is to go to the Royal Palace in the south of Aten and kill the three scorpions there. After you’re done with them, open up the quest menu and use the “Reload quest objective” option, and they’ll magically reappear.
If you find this too bothersome, you could also go to Aaru and ride around the fields there. You’ll get to kill a whole bunch of scorpions before you have to reload the objective, but there will also be a bit more downtime between groups.
Curse of The Pharaohs is the latest DLC for Assassin’s Creed Origins. It takes place in and around the city of Thebes, in a new area called Valley of Kings. In order to get there, you’ll need to finish the first DLC quest. This will allow you to travel between the new map and the old ones at will. Some players are confused by the entire thing, and there have been reports of the new quest not showing up. That’s why we’ve decided to write a guide to show you how to start Curse of The Pharaohs DLC in AC Origins.
Curse of The Pharaohs starting quest
First of all, you need to download the add-on from the store. Check the notifications to see whether your console has downloaded it on its own. If not, find the DLC using the search feature. Make sure it is released in your time zone. The store might allow you to download it before it’s live, but you wouldn’t be able to access the new content. If it should be live and you’re not getting the new quest, restart your console.

You’ll know everything worked as intended when you receive the Curse of the Pharaohs quest as soon as you load up your save. The quest will instruct you to look for a ferryman in either Memphis, Siwa or Alexandria. Talking to one of them will allow you to go to Thebes and start the main story of the DLC.
